We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we’ll be back. The team put so much care into making a stay memorable, with all kinds of thoughtful touches. Thanks for everything!

The Sunday brunch comes at a set price and there’s plenty to eat and drink. The couple running it are lovely, and the atmosphere is informal. We enjoyed the flans, apple cake, croque Monsieur and cloud eggs. I only wish they opened on more days.

We stopped for coffee and a bit of a cool-down during a bike ride, and ended up loving the place. The food was delicious, the coffee was great and the prices were really reasonable. The people working there were lovely too. We relaxed in the garden with our dog and chatted with two people we’d met there. It’s just a welcoming, easygoing spot, whether you’re out for a wee pootle or a savage cycling mission. Highly recommend stopping in.

On our bike tour through the Dordogne, we came across La Bicicletta while passing through Souillac in early July. We had a good meal and beer, and the local knowledge and hospitality made the visit especially memorable. We didn’t stay overnight, but we were glad we found the place. Merci!

We stayed in the dorm, which had the feel of a mountain chalet and would work well for groups or solo travellers. There’s also a shop with fun bike gear, including their own designed collection, and the rooms are fantastically decorated with collected bike-related objects. You can stop for a drink or something to eat, unwind in the garden, or stay the night. The whole place feels like stepping into a film or a fond memory, full of the kind of encounters that stay with you. Celine and Romuald bring it to life with their generous spirit. As we say in French, “ca fait du bien des lieux et gens comme cela!” A must-stop whether you’re into cycling or not, even if you’re coming from further away. ⭐️🌸
