The outside of the building looks really attractive, but inside it felt dated and cramped. The room was clean, though, and the TV was in such an awkward spot that watching it wasn't easy. There wasn't any coffee or tea making equipment like you'd find in most hotels. The restaurant seems to be where the staff's attention goes. As my husband put it, it must have been great in the 1990s. I wouldn't come back.

Dinner was good, and the terrace was nice. The property could use some fresh paint and maintenance, though. Our rooms were clean and pleasant, and the pool was okay but a little dirty. Reception was often unattended, so we had to wait several times for someone to show up. Breakfast was only €6 each, but it was very, very basic, though okay.

The standout was the superb dinner, an easy 5/5 for that. It's a great find in a quiet spot, with very pleasant rooms and nice bathrooms.

We stayed here overnight on our way back to Switzerland and found the rooms cosy and very nicely decorated. The restaurant meal was excellent and presented really well. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A charming hotel I'd recommend.

4/10
I went in with high expectations and came away disappointed. The owners seem nice, but they looked completely overwhelmed by the lack of support, and the restaurant was a disaster. The plates were cold, there wasn't much taste, though the dressing was nice. I hope the second day is better.
