Hotel Ker Moor Préférence

We’ve stayed at Ker Moor several times before, and looking forward to coming back says a lot. The team made us feel welcome, thank you to everyone. The room was clean, with enough cupboard and storage space, though it wasn’t large. The view was exceptional, and the recently added swimming pool is a big bonus. I imagine free parking could be a problem in peak season.

The garden was very well kept, and the terrace was spacious, which helped make up for the small living room and kitchen when we were all together. We rented an apartment at the bottom of the hill for a week, rather than staying in the hotel. It was modern and clean, with enough bedrooms for our six people, and closed parking for one vehicle was included. The bathroom design really bothered me: the shower pan is less than a centimeter deep and almost completely open to the rest of the room, so I spent longer mopping the floor afterward than actually showering. I do tend to fixate on bad bathroom design, though. It’s still a good place to stay in a lovely area, and I can recommend it.

The staff were charming, and the sea views are amazing. Breakfast was good, though expensive. There’s no evening restaurant, but town is only a ten-minute stroll away. Lovely hotel, and I’ll definitely return.

The only real drawback was the tiny toilet room, which didn’t feel fit for purpose. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The beds were probably the most comfortable we’ve had in any hotel. Excellent hotel.
