The kids loved the bunk beds, and we liked the hotel’s cozy feel and modern touches. Our family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of choice. Right in the heart of Strasbourg, it was easy to see the city on foot. The staff were warm and helpful, always offering recommendations with a smile. Thanks to Milo, Mylène, Adrien and Céline for making our dream trip so special. We had an amazing stay and would recommend it to families visiting Strasbourg.

The complimentary drinks and snacks were a lovely extra, especially the mulled wine. Everyone on staff was super helpful, and the rooms were thoughtfully designed, with quality linens and everything spotlessly clean. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, and a great base for a visit to Strasbourg.

The location is good and the room amenities were okay, but the stay didn’t match what I expect from a proper 4-star hotel. The hotel website gives a misleading impression of the room size. I booked a superior room with a balcony, listed online as 19 sq.m. If the tiny “cell” I got was 19 sq.m., then I must be a famous ballerina. Another claustrophobic stay in Strasbourg. Checkout is required by 11am, and charging an extra 35 EUR for each(!) hour after that feels excessive. At the other hotels I normally use, checkout at 14:00-15:00 is usually free. That doesn’t feel like 4-star service either.

The room was comfortable for three of us and all our things, and the beds were surprisingly nice. We’re used to very hard beds when traveling in Europe. It did get quite dark in the evening, though, and more lighting would help with reading. Celine was always helpful, and the staff were great and friendly. Breakfast wasn’t included, but it looked good. We loved having glass bottles to fill with water for the room, as well as complimentary mulled wine, cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate. The Christmas markets were all close by, about a 10-15 minute walk. Thanks for everything!
