Chateau De Chicamour

The restaurant was a good deal, with really good food. The hotel also had large, spacious rooms.

Really excellent.

Top-notch.

A month passed with no news, and when we called from a different number, the explanation had changed again. There was no honesty, accountability, or goodwill gesture. That was especially upsetting because this was meant to be an exceptional family occasion. My husband had arranged a surprise Christmas night at the Hôtel Chicamour in Sury-au-Bois directly with the manager, with everything planned ahead. But when we arrived, the hotel was shut, nobody was there to welcome us, and we had children and luggage with us. The manager couldn't be reached and never called us back. Several days later, my husband had to chase them. The manager gave explanations that made no sense and seemed clearly false, first referring to an employee who was supposed to be there, then saying that employee had been dismissed, and promising to contact us again. He never did. It was a hugely disappointing experience and showed a complete lack of professionalism. The establishment hosts weddings and events, but from what we experienced, its reliability is clearly lacking.
