The town is an easy walk away, with restaurants and the Castle to see. The site was in a great spot, very tidy, and reception was helpful. Toilets and showers were clean and conveniently located. We also used the washing machine for 4 euros, and access to the municipal pool was free.

Maria was welcoming, spoke good English, and was lovely with our dogs. There’s plenty of room at this motorhome stop, plus nice hot showers. From the campsite entrance, turn right and follow the path through the woods into the village. The nearby Chateau is worth a look too. We’d recommend staying here 👍

A friendly little campsite that’s kept clean. Staying in the school hold also gives you free use of the swimming pool next door. Maria, the hostess, speaks perfect English and really tries to make your stay a good one. It’s one of the best kept secrets. 👍

The pitches are level, though the ground is quite hard, so they may not suit tents very well. We got a warm welcome at this peaceful campsite on the edge of Tallard. The toilets and showers were very clean when we visited, but the site was nearly empty then, so I wonder whether there are enough facilities in high season.

I spent four weeks here and could happily have stayed longer. It’s a really peaceful spot, and the showers and toilets were clean. The water was hot every time.
