Hotel Le Mouton Bleu

With only 15 rooms, the hotel has a welcoming feel and never seemed crowded. The private beach is a big draw, and the pool and spa are excellent, with the spa accessible right beside the pool. Staff were courteous and happy to help with requests. Our room was nicely decorated and recently updated. The suite with terrace was spacious and opened directly onto the pool area. A few things were missing, though: there was no fridge, and coffee cost extra.

The Junior Suites had plenty of space, good equipment, balconies and lovely views over the lake and pool. Staff were fantastic and went out of their way to exceed our expectations. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, just a short step from the lake.

The terrace has a breathtaking view over the lake, and the breakfast buffet is well worth trying for its delicious local products. We especially loved their unusual local version of ‘Nutella’. The pool and garden were beautifully kept, and the private beach is only a short walk away. I also had a massage in the spa and came away feeling completely refreshed. Mouton Bleu made our visit to Annecy unforgettable. The hotel is stunning, and the owner and staff gave us truly exceptional service from beginning to end.

A special thanks to the gentleman who prepared breakfast earlier than usual to fit our needs. That was very kind. I think this may be the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. My room was bright, airy, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Merci!
