Villa La Talmondaise

We came back for a second stay at La Talmonaise because we like it here so much. Brigitte is welcoming and pleasant, and the house is comfortable and just as advertised. It’s close to the town center and the lake, and being on a dead-end street makes parking easy every time. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful three days at Villa La Talmondaise, with shops very close by and a magnificent view over the castle and lake. Brigitte gave us a warm welcome, including a chilled rosé waiting when we arrived. The house is lovely, with a large living room opening onto a charming garden, and the amenities matched the description. The kitchen is well equipped and suited to our needs. There’s good storage in the tastefully decorated bathroom, with the toilet separate, and the beds in both bedrooms were impeccable. Stone, brick, wood, and rope come together nicely in the house’s design. Some colors are soft and calming, while others are more vibrant and feel very Vendée. Thank you, Brigitte.

We especially loved having breakfast in the sun in the beautifully landscaped garden. It’s a comfortable little house, with a view of the castle from the bedrooms, and just right for a couple with two children.

Brigitte gave us a very warm welcome, with a welcome package and thoughtful supplies of tea, herbal tea, coffee, and sugar. The house is lovely and comfortable, with quality furnishings and carefully chosen decor, which isn’t something you find in every rental. The bedding was good too. I’d recommend it.
