We had a lovely three-night weekend, and our dog enjoyed it too. The hosts were welcoming, and the cozy cottage had everything we needed. It has a timeless feel, with walks and bike rides starting right at the door. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

There were two of us, and the cottage was lovely, full of thoughtful touches and tastefully decorated in an authentic mountain-hut style. The extra bedroom is up in the attic for children. We were there in early November, but with the heating and crackling fireplace, we weren't at risk of getting cold. It's out in the countryside, with everything you need for roasting chestnuts and Aubrac beef. We loved it!

Le Mur de Barrez is a beautiful village, and its shopkeepers and artisans are a delight. The former goat barn itself is a little gem, with a warm welcome and a cozy fire in the fireplace, all set in lush green surroundings. We had a magnificent stay.

Annette is a wonderful person, and the location is perfect. It's so peaceful and quiet, and the accommodation feels like something out of a Hobbit house! :p
