It feels more like a proper inn than a hotel, somewhere you can come home to. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere is just right for a holiday stop. From the terrace and the rooms, the view is beautiful. The welcome is warm and friendly, too. The rooms are simple but clean, and you can park for free. Food isn’t high cuisine, but it’s good quality and not expensive. There’s a decent choice of food and drinks, so everyone can find something they like.

A good bed and breakfast, though the roads leading to the house are very narrow. I’m not sure a Sprinter or anything similar could get through.

We were a family group of 39, with adults, teenagers, and two children, and had a wonderful weekend. The new owner was very friendly and accommodating with dietary needs, and the warm welcome made us feel at home. The packed lunches meant we could hike at our own pace. There were activities for teens and adults alike, including table tennis, pétanque, billiards, and foosball. We also enjoyed the terrace, though its parasol cover could do with improvement in strong sun. We’ll gladly come back.

We had a family celebration at Clos Auvergnat with half-board. The owner was very welcoming, cooked delicious meals, and prepared picnic baskets. The rooms were spotless, and everything went perfectly.
