Dinner was lovely, and the owners were very accommodating. The place has a great atmosphere and quirky decor. My bedroom was spacious, with the toilet separate from the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. The room could use an upgrade, though: the loo was wonky and there was black mould on the bedroom ceiling. Still, everything was spotlessly clean, which matters most to me.

There’s plenty of seating in the pleasant back garden, with a pond full of huge fish. Inside, the decor is really nice and the staff are friendly. The traditional French food is good. It’s not cheap, but still reasonably priced. One warning: don’t ask for your steak well done!!
