Dreamyflat - Abbesses

The apartment wasn’t clean when we arrived, with rubbish still left by the previous guests. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and nothing was done about it during our four day stay. If you shower normally, the bathroom floods unless you’re very careful or finish quickly. It’s on the ground floor at the corner of a street, with no blackout curtains, so privacy and quiet aren’t really possible. You can hear everything outside, from children during school hours to a drunk person using the corner by the apartment as a bathroom at night. Before arrival, after we’d already paid through booking.com, they emailed asking for photos of our IDs and ourselves, plus pictures of both sides of our credit card. We called and said we wouldn’t send them, and they accepted that. Given the price and what you get, I’d choose a hotel, where someone can help with problems, or Airbnb, where hosts actually resolve them.
