Art Hotel Lafayette

The location is central, with buses, cafés, restaurants, and a food market around, plus Gare de l'Est and Gare Du Nord are both within walking distance. There’s also a great bakery nearby, Mr. Fernand, with a few seats inside. The hotel is cute, with small rooms and big bathrooms. Most of the staff were helpful, but noisy guests kept me awake. The walls and doors are thin, so you hear people coming and going through the little lift.

The bathroom was spacious, with stone tiles and a large shower, and the Wi-Fi was quick and reliable. Staff were very friendly, and the service, modern design, and rooms were all excellent. My only issue was how little room there was to move around the bedroom, since it felt small beside the large double bed.

Great value, and I’ve just checked in. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning works really well, though I won’t need it. The place is clean, the front desk man was extremely polite and helpful, and the train stations are right nearby, just as I needed.

My fiance and I spent a week here. We came to explore Paris, so mostly used the room to sleep. It was clean, well priced, and near the train, with access to the whole city. Great location for the cost.
