Château de Théoule

The team were welcoming and always smiling, and both the garden and beach are beautiful. This newly opened luxury hotel brings historic stonework together with contemporary design. We’ll definitely be back. And the Mareluna Michelin star restaurant is awsome!

Paying 50 euros a day to park at the hotel was bad enough, then we found out hotel guests pay the same as anyone else to use the hotel's private beach club and hire beds. That felt very unfair. We won’t stay here again. For the eye-watering price, our experience was overpriced and not that great. We’d booked a prestige suite with a sea view, but our room only had a partial view and was tucked around a corner. A large window onto the stairs took up much of the terrace, so people coming and going could see us. The room was at the back of the hotel beside a busy main road, with a speed hump right by the bedroom window. We could hear every car going over it, day and night. A street lamp above the terrace also shone through the bedroom window. We asked to change rooms, but were only offered rooms of a lower standard than what we’d paid for. The room was incredibly disappointing.

The food was fresh, delicious, and had plenty of variety. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel welcome the whole time. I had an amazing stay at this hotel, especially enjoying the beautiful, quiet, clean private beach, perfect for relaxing. A fantastic experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone after a peaceful getaway!

The beach and pool were clean, safe places to relax, and Theoule village is an easy walk from Chateau de Theoule. My wife and I had a wonderful week there. It’s a special, memorable, high-quality holiday, and I’d highly recommend the hotel. The staff’s customer care was faultless, and they were so helpful. We ate many times at La Plage Blanche, the hotel’s beach restaurant, right on the beach in an idyllic setting. The food and wine selection were very good. Room service and poolside service were excellent, too. Breakfast was exceptional for both its range of choices and the wonderful service.
