The owners are delightful, and the mountains are beautiful. This superb old building still has the soul of its former drapery, which the owners have preserved. The apartments are tastefully renovated, with everything set up for comfort.

The accommodation itself was pleasant, but after a certain hour we couldn’t get back inside. The front door was locked from the inside with the key still in the lock, so having our own key didn’t help. The owner also charged tourist tax for the children even though they’re exempt.

We had two wonderful weeks here in a beautiful, spacious, well-equipped apartment with a terrace and garden. The owners were very friendly, and there was an electric car charging station. We went hiking, with Lac d'Allos and Gorge de Saint-Pierre among the highlights, and took a donkey trek in Val de Chasse. We also visited the medieval festival in Colmars, Accrobranche, museums, and more.
