We had a great stay at Le Petite Charlene and would highly recommend it. The apartment is peaceful, has lovely views and is still close to the centre of Le Lac. It was comfortable and well equipped, with a compact kitchen full of high-quality appliances and utensils, a great shower room and comfortable bedrooms. Although it’s on the lower floor of a larger chalet, we didn’t hear the residents above, and our side entrance meant we only saw them occasionally. The staff were helpful before and throughout our stay, easy to reach and quick to respond.

It’s a lovely, spacious chalet in a good spot for the ski slopes, but some basics were missing. We needed more toilet paper, cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment, including a spatula, more mugs and possibly extra fridge space, especially with such a big kitchen for cooking. The sofa-bed room was quite dirty and could have been cleaned better. We also got very little help getting there, which was difficult without a car. The chalet operation felt strictly businesslike, and a few small touches like you might find in an Airbnb would have made the holiday better.

The team at C2J were brilliant, especially Justine and Manon, and we had a great stay. The chalet is well located, five minutes on foot from the centre of Tignes Le Lac and two minutes from the nearest drag lift. It was a little creaky around the doors and stairs. Checkout at 9am felt early, and an extra hour would have helped. Thank you!

The customer service was very helpful and easy to reach on WhatsApp during our two-week stay. This comfortable chalet is underneath the main chalet and is conveniently located 50m from Charbonette pull lift and the piste. There’s an off-piste route you can use to ski straight to the chalet, and grocery stores and restaurants are a five-minute walk away. For winter, I recommend an AWD vehicle.

A great place to stay in Tignes. The chalet was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay here recently.
