Premiere Classe Arras - Tilloy Les Mofflaines

The staff at reception were friendly, and the place is cheap with easy access from the motorway. We booked one room for three, but they let us bring our fourth child, who is only two and sleeps with us. We skipped breakfast. The bathroom setup felt like a Toi Toi, and there was no place to wash your hands in the toilet, so you had to go back to the room with dirty hands. Our sheets were clean, but the pillows smelled of tobacco enough to wake me up. There was no table or kettle either. There's plenty that could be improved here.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, but the hotel itself was awful. There was only one toilet for the entire place, and it had no toilet paper. The disabled toilet door wouldn't close properly, either. It was the hottest day of the year, but the air conditioning didn't work in either of the two rooms we had. The fridge was leaking and there were no towels. I've stayed in Premier Classe hotels all over France, and this was the worst one I've ever been to. You'd need to be pretty desperate to stay here. After this experience, I won't choose Premier Classe again.

The whole place smelled of smoke, even the rooms, although we'd booked non-smoking. The check-in staff were pleasant but seemed a bit clueless, and we paid more than the online booking price. Breakfast was okay. The location was decent, and this wasn't the worst Première Classe we've stayed in, that was Calais! I wouldn't recommend Premiere Classe in general unless you're a smoker.

The sheets were clean, so we stayed the night, but we got up early and went to the motorway service station to shower. The shared toilet at the end of the corridor had a door that wouldn't close, with lots of fruit flies, midges, and house flies around. There were green bits stuck inside the sink basin, as if someone had spat in it. The rooms had lots of flies too and didn't feel clean, and the bed covers were stained.
