The hosts were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was exquisite. We felt completely looked after. The modern, clean rooms have TV and Wi-Fi, too. It’s a quiet spot among vineyards and wineries, about 45 minutes east of Bordeaux and 20 minutes from the famous village of St Emilion. We loved having a glass of wine, or a few, by the pool at sunset. You’ll need a car to get around for things like horse riding and visiting castles or wineries. We had a wonderful stay, and many thanks again to our hosts.

Isabelle was a fantastic host, full of helpful recommendations for wineries and restaurants. Take her advice and ask her to book Auberge Saint Jean ahead of time. It’s a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the set menu was 45 euros. We also picked up lunch in St Emiliion and ate among the nearby vineyards. Such a peaceful spot, and handy for exploring St Emillion and the surrounding area. We stayed in Anthocyane for two nights and absolutely loved it. The room was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The bedroom was small, but the quality of everything else more than made up for that. Breakfast was homemade and excellent. The pool was still about a month from being finished during our visit. We thought it was excellent value and hope to come back someday.

We had four lovely days here in mid-March, with two cloudy days and two sunny ones, plus wonderful food and wine every day. Isabelle is an amazing hostess and does all she can to make your stay enjoyable. Our upstairs room was very comfortable.

Isabelle was so welcoming and helpful, and the whole place has a charming, intimate feel. The rooms are comfortable, too. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with muffins, homemade jams and other treats served in a warm, inviting dining room. It’s a lovely choice for a peaceful stay. Thank you, and see you soon.

We felt at home both in the facilities and with Isabelle, who knows just how to be attentive while giving her guests privacy. The rooms were spacious, clean, cozy and very comfortable. Breakfast, with organic products and house specialties, was a wonderful start to each day. Domaine de Bel Air lived up to our highest expectations. Isabelle is a wonderful baker and sommelier, and she was a great help with information about the area. We also enjoyed a quiet walk around the property and nearby surroundings with her lovely dogs. A special moment was a wine lesson and tasting, accompanied by an incredible " Isabelle" fig tapenade. A dream place for a perfect holiday. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely return.
