Le Mas de Torreilles (TRR103)

The location is very good, close to the beach, shops, and activities, and the receptionist was welcoming and available at any hour, which I appreciated. Still, I was disappointed with the house for the price. It lacked comfort, especially the sofas, and some equipment felt dated: the coffee machine, a very slow ceramic hob, and a small TV with a poor frame. There was no parasol in the garden either. The decor was almost nonexistent, with childish colours and little sophistication. The stairs also seem dangerous for young children.

Out of season, this place is ideal for getting away from the crowds and enjoying what the region has to offer. We felt at home right away in the comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, which is tastefully decorated. The residence is peaceful and beautifully maintained. With so few places to stay, the pool stays quiet and can feel almost like it’s yours alone. A big thank you for the warm welcome and the great suggestions for hikes, sightseeing, and restaurants. Everything recommended to us was excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quieter season was even more enjoyable. We had visited in August 2023, and I’d worried the place might lose its charm outside summer, but I have no regrets about this long weekend. The residence is beautiful, with a swimming pool, a play area for both children and adults, and a gym.

The person working at the snack bar was really friendly. We had a pleasant stay, though the beds didn’t feel up to four-star standards. It was also a shame that we had to bring the chairs out ourselves for the outdoor lounge, and there weren’t enough sun loungers by the pool.
