Pub Vauban

We arrived late in the afternoon without a reservation while on a motorcycle trip last week, and got such a warm welcome. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. The pub downstairs was good too, and had probably the nicest beer we tried all week. Merci!

The village is peaceful, with beautiful countryside around it, and there’s a shared kitchen that’s handy for travelers. The owners were really friendly and nice. I don’t know if they usually do this, but they let us stay in their apartment, which made for a very comfortable visit.

The room was simple and fairly clean, and I’d still recommend the hotel if you’re on a budget. We didn’t try the breakfast, so you might want to. The welcome from the woman was very cold. Her attitude made us feel as if we’d done something wrong, and she slammed our door hard enough to make us really uncomfortable.

The proprietor was nice, and I got a good night’s sleep in a simple room. Breakfast is available, but there’s also a kitchen with a sink, microwave, mini electric oven, and coffee maker.
