Studio Moderne - Terrasse Végétalisée

I wouldn't recommend them. The customer service was very poor.

I was very disappointed with how the host, Max, reacted when he found out we hadn't done cleaning tasks that had never been specified, either when we arrived or in a message. He then tried to charge us for two hours of cleaning, which we politely declined. He also claimed we had washed our dogs in the shower, even though they never went into the bathroom. That felt really unprofessional. I have photos showing the apartment's condition when we left. Very disappointed in Max's behavior, and it's a shame the review system doesn't let us leave a negative rating.

The apartment was nicely decorated, tidy, and had everything we needed. Getting in was easy, and the place was bright. The only small issue was a strong sewer smell from the shower. I think that's probably part of city life, so I'm still giving it five stars.

We never got to see the accommodation itself because the landlord canceled our booking after refusing the credit card we used, despite our bank saying it would be fine. We spent that night in the car, hoping to resolve things the next morning, only to find the booking had been canceled and the money kept. Our vacation was ruined. Booking.com couldn't reach an agreement with the landlord either, since he insisted he was right. I should have checked the Google reviews first, as they suggest things aren't always above board. This was a complete deal-breaker and a real eye-opener for me. The area also didn't appeal to me, though that's a matter of taste. I hope other providers keep their promises instead of just trying to make a quick buck. I can't comment on the accommodation itself, since we weren't allowed in.
