B&B HOTEL Toulouse Université

A clean, convenient place to stay, with very helpful staff.

The family room worked well for four, and breakfast was good. We were passing through late, on our way from the airport to ax Les thermes, so the location suited us. There aren’t any restaurants nearby open after 10:30 PM, but food delivery is an option.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. After my flight was cancelled, they arranged for me to stay in the same room, depending on availability, and they were clearly trying to help. I also arrived starving just five minutes before the restaurant closed after a long day of meetings, and they kindly made up what food they had left. The rooms are clean. The area feels a bit dodgy, so if you’re alone at night I’d recommend Uber or a taxi. It’s about 12 euros from the city centre. During the day, the local metro is right next door, which is convenient and cheap, around 2 euros with contactless payment.

The room and towels smelled, and the shower and shampoo provided weren’t good. There was also a power outage on the morning of the second day, 16th Sep. The location is inaccessible without a car and there are no restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant wasn’t open for lunch or on Saturday and Sunday evenings. There’s no laundry service, iron, kettle, safe deposit box, or room telephone.
