La Quietat

I stopped here for one night on my way south. The staff were friendly, spoke very good English, and were very helpful. It's on the outskirts of Toulouse, with plenty of parking. I'd definitely recommend it, especially since it's much better than the budget box hotels for just a little more.

The atmosphere was peaceful and the staff were nice. The room stayed cold even with the heating on, so the building doesn't seem very well insulated. The bathroom didn't smell very good either. Aside from that, the hotel was okay and the decor was cosy.

The bed was comfortable, with nice thick blankets, and the Wi-Fi was okay. The room was fine, though the furniture seemed near the end of its useful life. Staff were friendly and competent, and some spoke English, but you'd better have some French ready just in case. Breakfast was tasty but limited. The coffee was decent, which isn't always a given at this price.

The bus to central Toulouse is easy to reach and runs efficiently, so the distance didn't put me off. From outside, the place looks unassuming, but inside it's excellent: modern and stylish while still simple. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with some very modern, quirky decor touches.
