For what you pay, you get a lot: free, great Wi-Fi, really good service from the staff, and a great location. The rooms are great and their quality is top-notch. I've stayed in pricier hotels in London and Brighton that didn't include even half the things this one did. You can't really ask for more at this price.

Right in the centre of Toulouse, just above the melting pot irish bar, this is a decent little hotel at a decent price. It's especially handy for rugby fans. Lots of bars, restaurants, and petitaries are right there on the street.

The location is hard to beat, right by several European and east Asian restaurants. My double room was spotless and modern, and the air conditioning worked really well during my late May and early June stay. The hotel is small, central, clean, and the staff are friendly. I can't believe it's only rated two stars; it really deserves at least 3 to 3.5. The staff were responsive, welcoming, and accommodating from the start. Hai Ha was especially friendly, diligent, and supportive. Thanks to Hai Ha and the rest of the team for a wonderful stay. I'll recommend Hotel Victor Hugo to everyone back home in Ireland who's visiting Toulouse.

The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the service was lovely. I enjoyed the coffee in the morning too. Thank you, highly recommended.

You can walk from here to all the major sights and the riverside, so I didn't need public transport at all. The location right downtown is the best part. The rooms are comfortable, if a bit small. Breakfast is basic, though there are plenty of restaurants on this street.
