Pretty cool.

We enjoyed sitting on the terrace, and the steak tartare was especially well prepared. The homemade ice cream was delicious too. The menu is simple and not very varied, but everything features local products. Presentation and service were impeccable, from the appetizer right through to dessert. The wine list is limited but interesting, with reasonable prices. While talking with the owner, we heard that a few rooms will soon be available. A place worth sharing, and we’ll be back.

The dishes were decent and showed promise, but the welcome and service spoiled the whole meal. We discovered the restaurant shortly after it reopened, and the experience was particularly disappointing. Even though we had a reservation, no table had been set aside and there were no place settings. Eventually we were given a table in what felt like a back-kitchen canteen, while the unused dining room seemed like a mere stage set. The table still had visible remnants from previous customers, and there wasn’t even a paper placemat. Service was deplorable and the welcome amateurish. Given how poor the service was, the prices were exorbitant. Absolutely avoid it. The chef might be better off practising his talents elsewhere, and I doubt this establishment will stay in business for long.

The food was full of wonderful flavors, carefully presented, and had the chef's own touch. We came across the restaurant while walking through Tournus and were glad we did. The terrace was calm, and both the welcome and service were really friendly. Bravo to the whole team, and good luck!
