Terre d'Orizon

Every morning, the view from the window and breakfast on the terrace were a treat. Terre d’Orizon is peaceful and clean, with everything you need to unwind and enjoy nature, and there are plenty of hikes nearby. Tourrettes-sur-loup, the medieval town with its nice restaurants and terraces, is an easy walk away. It’s a real gem, and Ivan made the stay even more pleasant.

With just four rooms or apartments, the newly built place feels fresh and gives you plenty of privacy. Ivan was a very accommodating host and went out of his way to make our stay work well. There are several great restaurants in the cozy little town, an easy walk away, and the Riviera is within easy reach. The apartments were perfect.

We stayed at Terre d'Orizon in August 2023, and I’ve been meaning to write about it ever since. Ivan welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. He was also generous with recommendations and tips, which helped us make the most of our time in the area. Our studio was spacious, bright, and airy, with breathtaking views of the Cote d'Azure from the balcony doors. We loved having breakfast there each morning. The accommodation was immaculate, modern, and thoughtfully decorated. The idyllic pool was lovely for a morning swim or to cool off during the hot afternoons. It’s in a peaceful spot within walking distance of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, and easy to explore the wider region by car. Terre d'Orizon is a hidden gem, and I’ve already booked another stay for summer 2024. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The balcony view over the hills to the sea made breakfast special, and somehow it never got old. This B&B is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, with a finish well above what you’d expect. It had only just opened, which explains the small number of reviews, and everything felt brand new. We booked Terre d’Orizon at the last minute and felt incredibly lucky once we arrived. There’s a great pool on site, a well-equipped gym, and plenty of parking. Irina & Ivan were fantastic hosts, always available if we needed them. It’s a gentle 15-minute walk to the centre of Tourettes-sur-Loop, where you’ll find lots of restaurants and wine bars for the evening. Irina & Ivan were happy to suggest places and offer to make reservations. We already miss it and hope to return soon!
