B&B Hotel Tours Nord 1 Val de Loire

A clean, tidy budget stop on our way down to the south of France. There's no restaurant, but fast food places are only about a five-minute walk away.

We got a good night's rest here. The area was quiet, the shower was great, and the bed was comfortable. Our room was small and on the ground floor, with its entrance opening outdoors. It still smelled of smoke, apparently from someone who'd smoked there before. At around 70€ a night for a double, this is one of the cheaper places around, though I wouldn't call that cheap. With few affordable options nearby, I'd recommend it. I wouldn't choose it for several nights.

After a long drive, we arrived at 23.45 and just wanted somewhere to sleep before another long journey. The online check-in was convenient and saved time. Our family room had four beds, was clean, and came with wifi and a television. We skipped breakfast. It's really just somewhere to sleep, so I wouldn't suggest it for a longer stay. But if we needed a hotel on another trip, we'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms stayed quiet despite the busy roads nearby, as they seemed well soundproofed. Outside, the landscaped grounds made a pleasant little walk for the dogs. The rooms were excellent, with modern decor, a comfortable bed, and a great shower. They can get very warm, though. You can open the window, but then traffic noise comes in, or use the air conditioning. I believe these hotels are rated 2*, and I don't understand why when they're this good.
