The rooms weren’t clean enough, and the shower gel dispenser didn’t work. The water was too hot and couldn’t be adjusted. Breakfast costs extra. Along with the usual French breakfast, they had omelette and sausages, but the fruit was tasteless. There was no dark bread, porridge or muesli, so nothing to avoid white wheat flour. The staff weren’t friendly, except for the man who asked for my room number at breakfast, who was kind.

Simple, affordable, and an easy walk from Tours’ main attractions. It was clean, and the staff were nice.
