Gîte Tours : Gîte du Vieux Tours

We were starting a cycling trip, and the staff at reception and breakfast were wonderful. After we left a backpack in the back of an Uber, they helped us get it back, handling the whole thing with real friendliness and professionalism. Our room was clean and had what we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The location is superb for cyclists passing through, and they can store bikes securely. The staff were excellent and the rooms were nice. Highly recommend this hotel.

We called to confirm our reservation and were told everything was in order. But when we arrived at 7:00 PM on December 28, nobody was there. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.

The single room is small, but it has everything you need and is good value. The place was as described, with nice staff and professional management. The cobbled street out front has lots of restaurants, so it could get noisy in summer if you sleep with the French windows open. Personally, I’d keep them shut and use the air conditioning or heating. There’s a lovely Italian restaurant right across the street. Stay here if you're coming to Tours.
