The ladies made shopping a pleasure. They were kind and never pushy, listened to what I wanted in the fit, and were much nicer than staff at many other women’s shops nearby, even when I forgot some French words. I came in looking for a trench coat and a tote with a zip. They didn’t have the bag I wanted, but I was delighted to find a couture trench coat for less than half its original price. I recommend popping in to browse the beautifully curated collection.

I really wouldn't recommend going into this shop. It's cramped and very dirty, with products piled on top of one another. They tell you to help yourself, but things aren't set out properly. When something breaks, they make you pay for it. Take a look at the result. Two bikers from Villelongue-dels-Monts 66.

I’ve been visiting the L'Essentiel consignment shop on Rue Colbert for several years and have always found lovely pieces. Isabelle chooses the stock with care. There are coats, dresses, and bags from high-end and luxury brands, all in like-new condition. It’s a clean, lovely boutique that’s well run. I highly recommend it. Rose Streff
