The toilet in my room had a notice saying it was broken, so I had to use the one outside the room. Then, on the second day, I came back to find the bed hadn’t been made and there were no fresh towels. When I arrived early in the morning, the front desk wasn’t open, and I waited outside in the cold for almost two hours. Expedia hadn’t mentioned that reception would be closed. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in recent years.

We had plenty to choose from at breakfast, including tartines, jam, charcuterie, cheese, and fruit. The staff were kind and helpful, and let us keep our bicycles inside overnight. Our room was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and we had a little balcony to enjoy the evening. We stayed for one night.

For the price, this is by far the best hotel I’ve seen. It’s a good option for a few nights in Tours if you’re on a low budget. The rooms are simple and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s not right in the center, but close enough to walk there easily.

The location is good, with everything nearby, and the room was okay for how cheap it was. The receptionist had quite an attitude, though. If you want the breakfast buffet, book ahead, because you can’t just ask for it in the morning when you get there.
