Hotel Mirabeau

The inner patio, the very friendly receptionist, and that quaint veranda-style bathroom in the bedroom were the details that won me over. The room felt a bit old and the hotel wasn’t perfect, but there was something about the place that I really loved.

We’d choose this hotel again next time. It’s easy to reach, with parking right outside, and the staff are friendly. Our room was clean, and paying for breakfast turned out to be a good choice. A comfortable, convenient option for travellers.

The staff made us feel very welcome, and the whole place was clean and nicely presented. Our room wasn’t large, but it suited us, and the ensuite was spacious and modern, with a very good shower. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice, though I know that’s a very English habit. The hotel is well placed for the town centre. Breakfast was just what we needed, although the room felt a bit cramped because the weather kept guests from using the garden. We’d definitely stay again.

There seemed to be plenty of other families staying here, as there were with us travelling with a child. The breakfast had enough variety, the reception was very friendly, and the hotel was generally clean, so it suited our needs well. It’s not right in the heart of Tours, but we deliberately chose to walk. Parking around the hotel is free. In our view, it’s a three-star hotel.
