Centre Bol Vert

A quiet place to stay, next to a few small animal enclosures.

There's a lot to do nearby, from hiking trails to museums, and the site also has leisure options like an educational farm, a pool, a sauna, and squash courts. You can choose between the hotel, a group gîte, or an apartment for six, and there's the option to eat there too. The building used to be a glassworks and has plenty of history. The staff are very welcoming, and the value for money is excellent. Staying here also supports people with disabilities. It deserves to be better known, and I highly recommend it.

The room was clean and very nice, and the bed was comfortable. I had a warm welcome, and breakfast was really good, though I would've liked something a little salty too. The pool was nice, but the water felt cold, even in the jacuzzi. The bathroom let things down a bit: the shower had very little pressure, and the water wasn't very hot. Thank you.

The place has real charm, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It's a historic building, and the clean, pretty room and excellent breakfast made for a lovely stay. The only small drawback I noticed was that the bathroom felt a bit dated, nothing serious. I really recommend it. The town is charming too, with three restaurants within a 5-minute walk. During the season, it's worth visiting the glassworks to watch the glassblowers 😉. They employ people with specific needs, which is another great thing about the place.
