Camping Les Berges de la Dordogne

There are shaded and partly shaded pitches, and some look out over the Dordogne. The facilities are modern and immaculately kept, and the three pools were clean with good furniture around them. An excellent campsite on the riverbank, with a restaurant offering plenty of meals at reasonable prices.

The campsite has a lovely pool, clean sanitary facilities and a small shop with the essentials at reasonable prices. Our pitch had a great view over the Dordogne, with water and electricity right there. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the price was good. There's only one washing machine, though. For cycling, the access could be better: it's a narrow loose-gravel path shared with pedestrians. The town is less than a kilometre away, with several restaurants and a small grocery shop that's well stocked. A great site, well worth visiting.

We loved the pools, which worked well for all ages, and the bar and restaurant were exceptional, with fabulous staff. The bathrooms felt almost like a five-star hotel, and the showers and toilets were carefully planned and top class. This family-owned campsite was a big plus for us. We met the family members who looked after us, and Thomas even repaired one of our bikes. Everyone was warm, helpful and friendly. The site is peaceful, spacious and private, with activities for all kinds of interests. After three nights, we can honestly say it's the best campsite we've ever visited. We'll be back!

A lovely little campsite with modern facilities and easy access straight to the river. The nearby town is lovely too, and all in all we can't fault the place, hence our five stars. A few more dog waste bins would help, and the toilets often run out of hand soap.
