A marvelous place, with superb facilities and a wonderful, home-like feel. The restaurant is top class too. Thanks to everyone, and merci!

The place feels magical, and you can tell the people working there really care. Breakfast was phenomenal. We had one dinner at the gastronomic restaurant, the vegetarian meal was good, though not mind-blowing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The building has a rich, interesting history, and the gardens are lovely, with a pool right in the centre of Trémolat village. The staff gave us a wonderful welcome. The ladies couldn't do enough for us, and nor could the man we nicknamed "coffee man!" Merci!

One of the world's best restaurants. Dining under the tree in summer is a must when you're in the southwest.

The hotel feels woven into the village, and having Lotus eating in bucolic France was a treat. The staff made it seem like nothing was too much trouble in this country house. My wife reckoned it was one of the loveliest hotels she’s stayed in, and I can see why: comfy beds, a hot shower, beautiful gardens, a lovely pool, and fabulous food and wine.
