The château tour was really interesting, and we loved how peaceful it was. We had a fabulous two-night stay in our motorhome, with a friendly welcome and a relaxed feel. We enjoyed the pool too. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again.
The staff are friendly and give you space, and the campsite is clean and well looked after. It’s a nice, quiet place. Tours is about a half-hour drive away.
The owners, a lovely man and his family who own the château, run the site. It’s so peaceful, and the surroundings are beautiful. There’s a private pool, a paddling pool, and a restaurant/bar. The shower block is simple, but very clean and tidy. I could have stayed for weeks. Just note that the shop is basic, and bring plenty of cash since the bar and shop only take it.
The campsite has spacious pitches, and the washing-up, laundry, and shower facilities are well appointed. There’s also a swimming pool, a kids’ play area, outdoor seating for the bar, and an outdoor games room. We got such a warm welcome. Chateau De La Rolandiere is a wonderful place to stay, and I thoroughly recommend it.
A small, peaceful campsite with a lovely welcome. The shower facilities were clean, though I’m not sure if they’re meant to be part of the historic setup. They could definitely do with an update.
