Habitation Desrosiers

The small terrace had a lovely view, and the rooms were beautifully designed. Our host also made the whole trip easy, from collecting us at the airport to sorting out the rental car and helping plan our stay. Thank you!

Of all the places I saw on Martinique in 2021, this was my favorite. It’s somewhere you can really unwind, enjoy a long drink, and take in the lovely view of PDF gulf. Thank you, C&S!

We spent a week in the charming, well-equipped apartment at Habitation Desrosiers. The terrace was where we passed much of our time, with a spectacular look over the bay, Fort de France, and the mountains. Sandrine and Cyril made us feel at home on their island. They picked us up at the airport, arranged an excellent rental car, and welcomed us with a bottle of their homemade planteur and some basics in the refrigerator. They also brought our first dinner and breakfast. Their detailed map talk was especially helpful: they asked what we liked and pointed us toward sites, restaurants, and experiences that suited us. Their time, knowledge, and generosity made the week a delight.

We spent 10 nights in one of Sandrine and Cyril’s four apartments, from January 29th to February 9th. It was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and had all the basics we needed, including kitchen supplies, coffee, sugar, cleaning products, dishwasher pods, coffee makers, dish towels, and plenty of dishes. That was much appreciated. The apartment is small but works well for a couple. Its little terrace has a superb sea view over the bay of Fort-de-France, and partitions between the four terraces give you privacy and a peaceful stay. The location worked well for us, with the beach 500 meters away, though keep in mind the walk down and back up, and plenty of places to visit nearby. Sandrine and Cyril were welcoming, responsive, available, and full of useful advice. There are a couple of small drawbacks. The bedroom has no door, and its wall doesn’t reach the ceiling for ventilation. There also isn’t much room for a wardrobe or other storage. Still, we had a great stay and wholeheartedly recommend Habitation Desrosiers. Thanks to Sandrine and Cyril from a couple visiting from mainland France, Île-de-France.
