Residence Villas Melissa

The room has a view all the way to Fort de France. Villa melissa is clean and really nice, and it's very close to the beautiful beach lanse Mitan.

The top floor has a magnificent view, and the pool is a lovely place to unwind in the evening. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, so we didn't need the car. The villa's parking area is the one drawback, though. The slope can feel intimidating if you're not used to driving on one.

Everything is close by, from the mini-market and pharmacy to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The apartment was clean, had good equipment, and the view is breathtaking. The pool wasn't cleaned regularly and was often dirty. Although access is secure, people who aren't staying at the residence can get in, so it was often crowded on weekends. There was no Wi-Fi, despite the website saying otherwise, which was inconvenient since we aren't locals and had no mobile data. The parking lot is also so steep that it felt dangerous, especially with young children or older people.

Olivier at reception gave us excellent tips for places to visit and eat. The studios are a good size, and the second-floor view takes in the whole bay of Fort-de-France. The residence is well located, with a warm welcome and a beach just five minutes away on foot. The pool is adequate for the number of residences, and the kitchen is well equipped. Remember to turn on the bedroom air conditioning when you're not in the apartment. We had a very good stay at Villa Mélissa residence.
