The old post office in Trouville is a beautiful period building, and it’s ideally located and well-appointed. But the arrival was disappointing: the sheets hadn’t been freshly laundered, the floors hadn’t been cleaned, and the bins weren’t empty. The additional cleaning fee was eventually waived, though we would have much preferred better service and a more responsive agency.
10/10
The spacious, grand open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area was extremely comfortable. This was an exceptional holiday apartment, just steps from the beach, port, and center of Trouville, with four bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.
6/10
The sleeping area is roomy and comfortable, but it feels short on character. That’s a shame at these elitist prices, especially when the main room is so splendid.
10/10
It’s a beautiful place, with that 1930s soul.

Such a magnificent place.
