TOWNHOUSE TROUVILLE - Appart'Hotel & Studios

The host made us feel welcome and took time to explain everything in the room. He even carried our luggage up to the top floor, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable and had all we needed for cooking, with thoughtful details everywhere, from the mattress to the tissues. You can tell they care about what they do and want guests to have a good stay. We had a wonderful two days and would love to return someday.

The location is hard to beat, close to the lively streets and the beach, but off the main road so nights are quieter. We loved our stay with Oliver, Carlos & Marie-Thérèse. Everything went smoothly from the booking, with clear communication, to an easy check-in full of local tips and a simple check-out. There was great humour and chat throughout. The studios, rooms, and apartments are very clean and finished to a high standard, with lots of thoughtful touches. Each one is carefully laid out to make good use of space and facilities. We didn't get to try the spa this time, but we will next time. We parked at Indigo parking in front of the casino. From 13:00 Friday to 14:30 Sunday, it came to £43, which I was perfectly happy with given the location.

Parking was the only downside. It's free on the roads, but hard to find a space, and the nearby car park costs €30 for 24 hours. That didn't spoil our stay, though. The Townhouse is ideally placed for exploring the centre and beach, and our room had everything we needed. It was set up well for self-catering. The woman who checked us in was lovely and friendly, and kept asking if we needed anything. We had a great time.

We stayed in attic apartment 6. It was very clean, and the shower had good pressure even on the top floor. Carlo was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The place has a cozy, homely feel, quirky little decorations, crooked stairs, and a cute terrace. The location was perfect, too. I'd definitely recommend it.
