Chambre d'hôtes Le Saint Maurice

We spent a lovely family stay here with our four children, thanks to Hervé and Isabelle’s thoughtful welcome. The grounds are great for relaxing by the pool, playing pétanque on the beautiful court, or having an aperitif as the sun sets. A thousand thanks!

Hervé even fixed my walking poles! That’s the kind of care we got throughout our stay. My daughter, our dog, and I were welcomed like family, and our room worked perfectly for the dog, who could go out into the interior courtyard. We were lucky to share dinner and have some great conversations. The hiking, restaurant, and sightseeing tips were spot on, and the region is still so unspoiled and beautiful. And, as a little bonus 😉, Isabelle and Hervé are from the North, like me! We highly recommend it, with or without a dog or children.

The setting is gorgeous, and the pool is a real plus. Our stay in this lovely, peaceful place was excellent. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Hervé and Isabelle welcomed us so warmly and kindly, making it easy to feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh products and Isabelle’s lovely homemade jams. We’d be happy to come back and recommend it highly.

We felt so comfortable during our two months this summer at the Gîte du Saint Maurice. The spacious, pleasant house has a large terrace in a perfect spot, plus a superb garden tucked into the mountains. Hervé and Isabelle were warm and welcoming, and always paid attention to what we needed. I highly recommend it!
