The hosts made the stay memorable, they were charming and helpful. We had a spacious room and enjoyed excellent dinners and breakfasts with the other guests in a friendly atmosphere. We stayed two nights in September, and Villandry and Chaumont are about a 45-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

We met some lovely European travelers over dinner, and the hosts treated us well as Canadian anglophones. The Manoir itself is beautiful and peaceful, and we had a wonderful two-night stay. Each evening the owners offer host table dining, with tasty, generous home-cooked organic meals, local wine, and cheese for 25 Euros per person. Breakfast is included in the room price, with homemade yogurts and jams, eggs, fresh pastries, bread, and fruit. Amboise is a 25-minute drive. It was hot at night, and there was no air conditioning. Since you're out in the country, pick up food and drinks before checking in if you don't plan to eat there. I would definitely return.

The owners were lovely, and the food they served was very good. We stayed two nights in July and had a great time. I'd stay longer next time to explore more of the area.

Dinner is cooked by the hostess, who's a gourmet cook, but you need to order it in advance. The hosts were very warm and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable in this 500-year-old home. A wonderful bed and breakfast.

Superb food made with fresh organic produce from their own garden, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hosts were wonderful too. A great place to stop in the Loire Valley, and I'd recommend it and stay again.
