La Datcha Delicatessen

Breakfast was a highlight, freshly prepared by the owner with homemade and local products. The house is lovely, tucked among the vineyards, and so quiet and peaceful. The owners are incredibly nice and really make you feel looked after. We had an amazing stay. Thanks so much, and highly recommended.

We had such a lovely weekend last week. Our room was spotless and had a unique feel, and the bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic!!! Sabrina and Alain from Nice, a big thank you to our hosts for taking such good care of us.

We had a wonderful evening at Datcha Delicatessen and will definitely come back. Ulrich and Julia welcomed us so warmly, and it almost felt like staying with friends. The rooms were comfortable, and the house stayed cool, which was a relief after the hot drive. Dinner was excellent and breakfast very good. I highly recommend it. The place is wonderfully peaceful, tucked below the vineyards, and we came away feeling completely disconnected from everything. We needed a quiet overnight stop, and after finding it on Booking.com, we called the hosts directly, as we usually prefer to do. That first conversation always makes things feel more familiar, and we were glad we called. Ulrich, Julia, and their daughter Tina are such pleasant, exceptional hosts. They have a fascinating life story that you’ll want to hear if you take the time to get to know them. The rooms are high quality, and Ulrich’s traditional home cooking is full of care and very generous, a rare thing these days. Thank you for sharing such a lovely evening with us. We’ll be back.
