Amalur

The jacuzzi was a real treat, and we all loved our two nights here. My children and their grandmother had a magical stay. The couple running the guesthouse were incredibly kind, the decor was tasteful, and everything felt just right. Delicious breakfast and excellent value, too.

The house is striking, with a modern design that still fits the traditional local style, and the shared spaces are very spacious. We had a ground-floor room with a small window and no view, though there was a large common room overlooking the garden. The room had everything we needed and a wonderful shower. It might have been a little cold, but perhaps we just didn't know how to set the heating. Everything felt very modern, and the outdoor jacuzzi was open until 10 pm. Breakfast was generous, and the owner kindly joined the guests. Our French was limited, but she made an effort to speak Spanish with us and was very friendly. A lovely place to get away from it all.

The owners were so kind and attentive, and the welcome was wonderful. We slept beautifully, the room was just the right size, and the bathroom was spotless and high quality, with a proper walk-in shower. Breakfast was fantastic. Thanks again for your hospitality, we'll be back next year.

The owners live right there and gave us great tips for places to visit and restaurants. The setting is beautifully green, and inside it's calm and cozy. Our room was spotless and had plenty of storage. Breakfast was generous, with delicious homemade cakes 😋 We had a really pleasant stay and highly recommend it as a base for exploring the Basque Country.
