Hôtel Kyriad Brive La Gaillarde Ouest

I arrived after 9 pm and the self check-in was easy. Though it’s only a minute from the motorway, my room was so quiet it felt like I was nowhere near it. The room was simple and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with a great choice of pillows. I’m impressed.

Our car broke down on the way back to Germany, so we needed two rooms for two people and two dogs. They welcomed us warmly, and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the internet was fast, which isn't always a given in France. The outside isn't especially attractive, but it’s a really good place to stay.

We were traveling by car and this was a great place to sleep for the night. The parking was good and the rooms were really nice. A big thank you to Alexander and the second receptionist, whose name we unfortunately don't know, for helping us in a difficult situation. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

No one seemed to know English. I think an international hotel should have staff who can help with bookings in English. Maybe the woman on the phone just didn't want to speak it, but either way, it gives a really bad impression. Enjoy the one star :)
