Bed and breakfast Le Château d'Uzer

I keep coming back to Chateau d'Uzer. This was my sixth visit over three years, and I really value the easygoing, friendly feel there. Eric and Véronique welcome everyone warmly and are so helpful. Thanks to them, and the relaxed atmosphere, I always feel at home. The rooms looking out onto the park and its enormous old trees are idyllic. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out, with lovely combinations of colors and materials. Antique furniture, paintings, mirrors and other unusual pieces give everything a sense of history. The courtyard and large park are lovely places to relax, and a refreshing swim and the ready-to-use loungers make it easy to enjoy the day. Breakfast on the sunny terrace is a treat: croissants, fresh apple juice, homemade jams, honey, local cheese, fruit and delicious baguettes, all at a beautifully set table. There’s also a spacious guest kitchen for a quick snack, and a little boutique with a carefully chosen range of decor, clothes and accessories. A big thank you to Eric and Véronique, you’re doing a wonderful job!

We spent the Pentecost weekend here as a family and had a superb time. Château d'Uzer is a beautiful place to stay while exploring the Ardèche, with a magnificent building, lovely rooms and a stunning park. The old fashioned swimming pool is a real highlight. The welcome was perfect, and Véronique and Eric added thoughtful touches throughout. We’ll be back!
