The old stone house is only a couple of minutes on foot from Place des Herbes. Inside, the original furnishings and artwork give it a lovely, distinctive feel. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and there’s a handy kitchen for cooking, with shops close by. The bed was very comfortable. Be aware that the stairs are steep, and the walk from the recommended free car park may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

It was a shame our stay didn't work out. We found several dead cockroaches, including a large one beside the bed in the morning, so we chose not to stay for the second night. The room had smelled a little musty when we arrived, and the toilet took so long to refill that it couldn't be flushed twice in quick succession. We had enjoyed a delicious dinner in Úzes before going to bed. We booked on the website and got a quick, accurate reply. The room we wanted wasn't available, but they gave us a small discount on a cheaper one. The app also provided directions and free parking details. We left cash and told Cyrille we wanted to cancel night two; they replied promptly and apologized.

We had to book at the last minute, at 11 p.m. on a Saturday, and the owner responded warmly and quickly. They called with everything we needed to arrive safely an hour later. The rooms had what we needed, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The place has a lovely character that fits Uzès so well. We had a really enjoyable stay, thank you for being so responsive ✨

The renovation is beautiful, with refined decor and a spacious room. We also received a friendly, accommodating welcome. With such an excellent location, this is a lovely place to stay in Uzès.

The historic building is quiet and very well located. Our room was pleasant and tastefully decorated, and the owners gave us useful advice about restaurants, parking, and more.
