We’d happily come back to this area and stay here again. The whole B&B has a lovely charm, with beautifully decorated rooms and an excellent breakfast. Marc & Karine were wonderful hosts and added lots of personal touches that made the place feel like home. They both speak English and had lived in the US before.

Marc also let us park our motorcycle inside the property, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable, with a great shower, a lovely bed, and coffee available. Breakfast was laid out nicely. When my other half asked about buying a cider, Marc brought it over to the pool with two glasses and some nibbles, even though he didn’t need to. He and Karine made us feel welcome from the start, showed us around, explained where things were, and offered to turn on the hot tub. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. It’s a charming place, and I’d gladly return if I’m near Antrain again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was great, and the hosts were very nice. There are good facilities for relaxing, and the price was very good. We especially enjoyed the nearby botanical gardens, saint malo and mont Saint Michel. It’s a relaxing place with plenty of nice spots to visit within reasonable distance. Parking took a bit of effort, but we always found a space within walking distance. We were very happy with our visit.

The B&B is beautiful and sits in a picturesque village, but the way we were treated made the stay tense. We received an email 48 hours before arrival saying there would be a 20 euro charge if we arrived outside the 5 to 7 pm window. As soon as we got there, still carrying our suitcases, we were taken through a detailed list of house rules. I don’t mind rules, but I do expect a hospitable welcome. The incident that led me to write this was when we moved our lounge bed about two meters to sit in the shade. The hostess hurried past, speaking French quickly even though we aren’t native speakers, and aggressively told us to put it back. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I called after her several times, and only after ignoring me a few times did she turn around so we could talk. She made no effort to apologize. The couple’s tense manner, especially the hostess’s, gave me the impression that she didn’t enjoy having guests in her space. I come from a hospitality background and felt I had to share this.
