Le Clarou

The peaceful scenery was lovely, and the staff were friendly, but for what we paid the stay was disappointing. The room wasn't the one we’d booked and wasn’t anything special. The terrace was a highlight, despite being in poor shape and even dangerous because of protruding screws. The pool was... The breakfast disappointed too, despite the local products, and the promised Wi-Fi was very unreliable. There were some good ideas, but the unfinished details left me with a very mixed impression.

A quiet, remote spot with a very pleasant feel to it. The owners are attentive and make things easy during your stay. Quite an unusual place.

We came looking for somewhere peaceful and close to nature that really felt like the Cévennes, and found just that. It was a complete escape. The team working with Emmanuelle made it special, taking care of the rooms in the morning and meals in the evening. Huge thanks to Anthon, Romain, Noé, and Isis (not the dog). They’re passionate and inspiring, and have created a fantastic restaurant mixing local specialties with all kinds of dishes. Homemade and local, just what we love. Thanks as well for the warm welcome and kindness. We’d be glad to return. Caroline and Pascal.

By a stream in a peaceful, wild setting, this is an extraordinary bed and breakfast. The owner is attentive and does everything possible to make the stay enjoyable. Breakfast is the only meal served, but it’s substantial enough to feel like a good meal.
