We had a lovely Christmas stay at a decent price. The dinner was divine, and Nicolas, the owner, greeted each guest personally. All the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make up for a small room issue when a leak needed fixing. That was unexpected and much appreciated. I can highly recommend it.

The hotel sits in a fantastic spot, just across from the Olympic cable car at the bottom of the Olympic black run, with great views over town. Our second floor rooms had clearly been tastefully refurbished recently, and the reception team in particular were lovely and helpful. There’s good locker space and boot warmers in the boot room, though the stairs down to it can be treacherous. Breakfast was fine, but could use more hot food. This hotel is definitely on the up.

We ate like kings, thanks to the astounding new chef, and the staff are so friendly. I’ve visited several times and love this hotel. The location can’t be bettered. We had a gorgeous week, with fresh snow falling before we arrived and sunshine every day. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a great stay at Hotel Altitude and would definitely come back. The rooms were spacious, with modern, clean bathrooms, much better than a four star hotel we’d stayed at before. Nicolas was helpful with restaurant suggestions and bookings. The location was perfect, a couple of minutes’ walk from the ski lifts, and quiet at night for sleeping.
